No. Only leading and trailing whitespace is removed, so intentional spacing in the middle is preserved.

Trim whitespace from CSV cells

A single trailing space makes two values that look identical fail to match, which breaks joins, lookups, and de-duplication. Turn on Trim Whitespace and every cell is trimmed before anything else happens.

Because trimming runs first, turning on Deduplicate afterwards catches rows that only differed by stray spaces. All of it happens locally.
