Your data never leaves this browser

Convert JSON to SQL INSERT online

Paste or drop a JSON file and this page writes the INSERT statements for you. The JSON never leaves your device: parsing and SQL generation run in the browser, so you can even disconnect your network and it still works.

Nested objects are flattened into dot-notation columns (like address.city), arrays are kept as compact JSON text, and numbers such as 12345678901234567890 are preserved exactly as written instead of going through JavaScript number conversion.

Frequently asked questions

Is my JSON data uploaded to a server?
No. Parsing and SQL generation happen entirely in your browser using a Web Worker. You can disconnect from the internet and the conversion still works.
How is nested JSON handled?
Nested objects are expanded into dot-notation columns such as address.city. Arrays are kept as compact JSON text so no data is lost.
Can I convert an array of objects?
Yes. If the root is an array, each element becomes one row. If the root is an object, the longest array underneath it is used, and the app tells you which field it picked.
Which SQL dialects are supported?
PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQLite. Booleans, identifier quoting, and string escaping follow the dialect you choose.
