CSV to Markdown table generator
Drop a CSV and get a Markdown table you can paste into GitHub, Notion, Jira, or a docs site. Pipe characters inside cells are escaped and in-cell line breaks become
tags, so the table does not break when it renders.
The CSV is read locally, which matters when the table is a customer list you would rather not hand to an online converter.

Frequently asked questions
- Which Markdown flavor is produced?
- GitHub-flavored Markdown: a header row, a separator row, and one row per record.
- How are pipes inside a cell handled?
- They are escaped with a backslash so the table does not split into extra columns.
- What happens to line breaks in a cell?
- They are replaced with
so the row stays on one line in the source.
- Can I hide columns before exporting?
- Yes. Use the Columns menu; hidden columns are removed from the exported table.
