Remove empty rows from a CSV
Files exported from spreadsheets often carry blank rows that break imports. Turn on Remove Empty Rows and any row whose cells are all empty — including rows of only spaces — disappears from the preview and the export.
The count of removed rows is shown as a badge, so you can confirm the cleanup before downloading.

Frequently asked questions
- Are rows with only spaces removed?
- Yes. A row is considered empty if every cell is empty or whitespace.
- Are partially empty rows removed?
- No. A row with at least one value is kept; missing cells stay empty.
- Does this also fix ragged rows?
- Ragged rows are handled separately: extra cells go into extra_col_n and missing cells are left empty, with a note explaining it.
- Does it run offline?
- Yes, once the page is loaded the cleanup works without a network connection.
