Excel (XLSX) to SQL INSERT

Drop an .xlsx or .xls file and this page turns the first sheet into INSERT statements. Dates become YYYY-MM-DD, formula cells use their computed result, and numbers formatted with leading zeros (like zip codes) keep those zeros instead of being treated as integers.

The workbook is parsed locally with the SheetJS library running inside a Web Worker, so large sheets do not freeze the page and the file is never sent anywhere.

SQL INSERT

Drop a file to generate INSERT statements

Processing stays in this browser. Guests can process up to 500 rows per file.

Frequently asked questions

Which sheet is converted?
The first worksheet. If the workbook has more than one sheet, the app shows a note like Sheet "X" · 1 of N sheets.
Are formulas evaluated?
Yes. Formula cells use the value Excel last calculated and stored in the file.
Do leading zeros survive?
Yes. Cells formatted as zero-padded text, such as postal codes, keep their leading zeros.
Is my spreadsheet uploaded?
No. Excel parsing runs in your browser, and the file itself never leaves your device.
