Excel to CSV converter
Drop a workbook and download a CSV of its first sheet. Dates are written as YYYY-MM-DD, zero-padded numbers keep their leading zeros, and cells with formulas use the stored calculated value rather than the formula text.
The file is read locally with SheetJS in a Web Worker, so the conversion is private and the page stays responsive on large sheets.

Frequently asked questions
- Can I pick a different sheet?
- This release reads the first sheet only and tells you the sheet name if there is more than one.
- Do leading zeros survive?
- Yes. Cells formatted as text with leading zeros, such as postal codes, keep them.
- Are percentage and currency cells converted?
- They use the underlying number without the display formatting symbols.
- Is the workbook uploaded?
- No. Everything runs in your browser.
