JSON minifier
Minifying strips the whitespace from JSON for smaller payloads. Choose Minify and the output collapses to one line, with no change to keys, values, or number precision.
It is ideal for trimming a config blob before you paste it into an environment variable or a request body, and it stays fully client-side.

Frequently asked questions
- Will minifying break my data?
- No. Only insignificant whitespace is removed; the parsed value is unchanged.
- Does it compress the size further?
- It removes whitespace only. For transfer size, rely on gzip at the HTTP layer.
- Can I minify and then re-expand?
- Yes, switch the indent back to 2 or 4 spaces at any time on the same input.
- Is the JSON uploaded?
- No, it never leaves the browser.
