INSERT INTO statement generator
This generator writes INSERT INTO statements with an explicit column list, so the statements are readable and robust when a column is added later. Values are quoted according to the type inferred for each column.
Whether the input is a database export, a spreadsheet, or a JSON API dump, the conversion happens in your browser and the output can be copied or downloaded as a .sql file.

Frequently asked questions
- Does it include the column list?
- Yes. Every INSERT names the columns, taken from the file's header row.
- How are types decided?
- Each column is inspected as a whole. An all-integer column is unquoted, a decimal column stays numeric, true/false become booleans, and everything else is quoted text.
- Can I reuse a table name across files?
- Yes. The table name is editable and defaults to a snake_case version of the file name.
- Does it create the table?
- No, only the INSERT statements. Use your own schema migration for the table definition.
