CSV to MySQL INSERT statements
Drop a CSV and MySQL INSERT statements come out, with backtick-quoted identifiers and single quotes escaped. Batch size is adjustable so the statements match your client's max_allowed_packet.
This is a common need when importing a customers or orders export into a web app's database. Because the CSV may hold personal data, the conversion never touches a server.

Frequently asked questions
- Is the header row used as column names?
- Yes. The first row becomes the column list, and you can rename the table in the toolbar.
- What if a value contains a single quote?
- It is doubled, so O'Neil becomes 'O''Neil', which MySQL reads as a single apostrophe.
- Can I skip blank rows?
- Turn on Remove Empty Rows in the cleaning options before generating SQL.
- Does it write a CREATE TABLE statement?
- No. This tool only generates INSERT statements; create the table separately.
